SAGE and the Guidelines Resource Centre were developed by the Capacity Enhancement Program (CEP) of the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer which concluded on March 31, 2013. For information about these resources, please contact info@cancerview.ca.

Cancer guidelines are a core strategy in cancer control because they systematically compile the best available evidence on specific health care options and provide a basis for consistent, high-quality cancer care that will lead to improved patient outcomes.

The Guidelines Resource Centre is targeted primarily to guideline developers and health care professionals involved in cancer control, but may also be of interest to cancer patients, the general public, health care administrators and decision-makers. Our goal is to promote the development of evidence-based cancer guidelines and their use across Canada.

This resource centre includes the Standards and Guidelines Evidence (SAGE) directory of cancer guidelines, as well as information and tools to facilitate and support guideline development, adaptation and implementation.
