In addition to standard HTML web pages, our online resources contain other file formats. You may need additional software or browser plug-ins to view some of the information available on Cancer View Canada. The following shows each format, along with links to corresponding freely available plug-ins or viewers.

Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf)
If you do not already have Adobe Acrobat, you can download Acrobat Reader for free* (Windows and Macintosh).

Microsoft Word (.doc)
If you do not already have Microsoft Word or Corel WordPerfect, you can download Word Viewer for free* (Windows).

Microsoft Office Visio 2007 Viewer (.vsd, .vss, .vst, .vdx)
The Visio 2007 Viewer allows anyone to view Visio drawings and diagrams. If you do not already have Microsoft Office Visio you can download it here for free.

Microsoft Project 2000 Viewer (.mpp, .mpx)
The Microsoft Project 2000 Viewer allows anyone to view MS Project files. If you do not already have Microsoft Office Project you can download it here for free.

Microsoft Excel (.xls)
If you do not already have Microsoft Excel, you can download Excel Viewer for free* (Windows).

Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt)
If you do not already have Microsoft PowerPoint, you can download PowerPoint Viewer for free* (Windows).

Microsoft Windows Media Player (.wmv, .avi, .mpg, .mpeg, .mp3, .mp4)

Zip Compressed Files (.zip)
Windows XP and Windows Vista have a zip compression utility built into the operating system. If you are using a Macintosh or running an older Windows operating system and do not already have a compression program such as WinZip, you can download a free 21-day trial version of WinZip* (Windows) or download a similar compression program:
